Some people associate it with fields of grain, others with the rippling surface of a lake. There are many associations, because each time the PCC's kinetic façade "displays" a different image. Thousands of moving tiles it is made up of react to atmospheric factors such as wind or rain.

'We were looking for something unique, so that the most modern conference and congress centre in Poland would become an iconic, distinctive building. Something that will make this structure unique, so that is becomes a landmark,' says Elżbieta Roeske, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa MTP. 'We looked for inspiration in the UK or Australia – such buildings can be found there, and they look beautiful in all conditions.'

Poznań Congress Center will also be illuminated in a special way. In several places on the façade LED screens will be put, on which, among other things, information about events taking place in the building will be presented.

In the terrace garden in front of the PCC colourful swings, seats and gates with the inscription "Miłego Poznania" (Have a Nice Poznań) have already been placed, which are illuminated in different colours at night, depending on the event taking place at the PCC. On a platform three-dimensional letters were put, forming a large POZNAŃ inscription. It is a perfect place to take photos.

'We create a space where you can rest, but also a space that you will remember and associate with Poznań,' adds Elżbieta Roeske. 'The photographs that will appear in social media will be an additional advertisement for the city and our congress centre.'

For now, the space in front of the PCC is only available to people attending international conferences, congresses and events organised here, but this will change soon. The façade of the Poznań Congress Center will be completely ready in the middle of the summer holidays. After a break caused by the pandemic, fairs, congresses and conferences returned to the PCC. Thanks to its modern and attractive infrastructure, Grupa MTP is fully prepared to welcome even larger and more prestigious international events and visitors from all over the world.
