Poznań to Host the Prestigious EFFoST 2026 Conference
Grupa MTP (venue), the Poznań University of Life Sciences (host), and Poznań have been selected to host one of the most important European industry conferences organized by the European Federation of Food Science and Technology - EFFoST 2026. The decision was officially announced during this year’s EFFoST conference in Porto.
From November 4–6, 2026, approximately 800 experts, scientists, and practitioners from across Europe—representing key areas of food science and technology—will come to Poznań at the invitation of The European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST).
The event is the result of close inter-institutional cooperation between Grupa MTP, the Poznań City Hall, the Poznań University of Life Sciences, and the Polish Society of Food Technologists. Grupa MTP was selected as the event operator, responsible for full organizational and logistical support.
The venue selection process included an on-site visit by members of the EFFoST board, who had the opportunity to learn about Poznań’s potential—its scientific and organizational capabilities as well as its trade fair and conference infrastructure, which enables the delivery of top-level international events.
