Poznań Congress Center Receives "Accessibility Certificate – Barrier-Free Facility"
Grupa MTP has been awarded the "Accessibility Certificate – Barrier-Free Facility" by the Integracja Foundation for the Poznań Congress Center (PCC) building.

This distinction confirms that the Poznań Congress Center, which belongs to Grupa MTP, meets the requirements for architectural accessibility and has been adapted to the needs of people with various types of disabilities. In the process of preparing the Poznań Congress Center building for the "Barrier-Free Facility" certification, solutions were implemented to enhance the safety, accessibility, and comfort of people with special needs.
Evacuation procedures were updated to include guidelines for the evacuation of people with disabilities and standards for support in emergency situations. Detailed procedures for organizing events on the premises of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie (MTP Poznań Expo) were also developed, containing practical recommendations regarding accessibility for event organizers.
A series of architectural improvements have been implemented in the facility. A ramp was added near the restaurants to facilitate movement for people with mobility limitations, modifications were made to the restrooms to meet accessibility requirements, and contrasting markings were added to steps, increasing safety for people with visual impairments. Information for people with visual impairments was also expanded, ensuring better spatial orientation.
Obtaining the certificate is an important confirmation for Grupa MTP that the facility is a place open to everyone, regardless of age, ability, or individual needs. "We treat this certificate not as an endpoint, but as a strong motivation for further action. It also confirms Grupa MTP's consistent efforts to improve the quality of infrastructure and the experiences of guests participating in events organized within the Poznań Congress Center spaces," emphasizes Filip Bittner, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa MTP.
