Elżbieta Roeske, Vice President of the Management Board of the MTP Group, will assume the position of President of the Board at EMECA (European Major Exhibition Centres Association). This is the most important European institution for the exhibition industry, which will be led for the first time by a representative from Poland.

At the General Assembly of the European Major Exhibition Centres Association (EMECA), Elżbieta Roeske, Vice President of the Board of the MTP Group, was elected President of the Association for the period 2025-2026. This is another successful and prestigious position held by a representative of the Board of the MTP Group.

EMECA brings together 25 leading exhibition venues in Europe, many of which are also event and trade show organizers. EMECA members organize some 1,400 trade shows a year on a leasable area of nearly 30 million m². They welcome more than 500,000 exhibitors and some 28.5 million visitors annually in Europe.

At this year's fall General Assembly, EMECA members met at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. “The performance of EMECA members is always an indicator of the health of the entire exhibition industry in Europe. Despite significant challenges, revenues increased in 2024 and this trend is expected to continue in 2025 as well, which is very positive news for the European trade show industry, although some sectors and countries are experiencing less positive trends. EMECA members are continually demonstrating innovation, organizing successful new trade shows for emerging markets and attracting third-party organizers to their state-of-the-art facilities. The outlook for Europe's leading organizers of trade fairs and exhibition venues is therefore very positive,” explains Roland Bleinroth, President of EMECA.
