MOVE 2026: Strategies for the Transport and Automotive Sectors
Regulations are clear: zero-emission fleets are no longer a business choice they are becoming a legal obligation. The real question is whether companies can afford to meet this requirement. MOVE 2026, a congress for the automotive and transport industries, aims to answer that question by bringing together business leaders and new mobility experts at the Poznań Congress Center on May 27.
Three fronts of transformation in transport
The congress program focuses on three areas shaping the future of the industry. The first is automotive transformation, the second is the modernization of heavy-duty transport, and the third is the implementation of zero-emission fleets. It is in this last area that green transport ambitions with hard economics and total cost of ownership (TCO) a metric that, for many companies today, matters more than the purchase price itself.
The program also addresses topics that are gaining increasing attention across the industry: the development of electromobility processes, the role of domestic suppliers in production value chains, and the future of dual-use technologies operating across both civilian and defense sectors.

From choice to obligation
For road transport companies, key discussions will focus on digitalization, the e-TOLL system, and charging infrastructure for heavy-duty vehicles. The transition to zero-emission fleets is no longer a matter of goodwill—it is a legal requirement driven by ESG regulations, the EU Omnibus package, and upcoming Clean Corporate Vehicles legislation governing corporate fleets.
The challenge, however, is that obligation does not automatically mean profitability. That is why MOVE 2026 is designed to help participants assess realistic purchasing scenarios for electric and hydrogen vehicles based on current energy costs. This is the difference between a strategy that looks good on a slide and one that actually works within a budget.

A congress alongside trade fairs and a premiere event
MOVE 2026 does not take place in isolation. The congress runs alongside ITM Industry Europe and the inaugural Dual Use Congress, dedicated to dual-use technologies. This proximity enables knowledge transfer between the civilian and defense sectors and provides participants with access to the latest trends in vehicle manufacturing and software development.
The congress will conclude with roundtable sessions. Their goal is not another debate, but concrete outcomes specifically, the development of proposals for new funding programs supporting the industry.
MOVE 2026 will take place on May 27, 2026, at the Poznań Congress Center. Details and registration are available on the congress website.
